How Does Underwater Camera Anti-fog And Anti-water?
Leave a message
Underwater camera plays an important role in our life. Also, there are some problems effect it to work commonly. The following will introduce it.
1. Solution of camera waterproof and anti-fog
During the working process, especially indoor, underwater cameras often form fog or frost on the protective cover window glass due to fog or water vapor, etc., resulting in the camera being unable to see the objects and affecting the monitoring effect.
At present, there are methods to increase the defrost circuit, open air holes, fill nitrogen, add a fan, and put a desiccant. Different methods have different effects, of course, and some can solve the problem, and some can't be completely eradicated. However, from the most basic point of view, it is necessary to strictly control the cleaning of materials and try to eliminate the presence of volatiles. For example, PCB boards must not have residual flux, and light-shielding rubber sleeves are made of high-quality silicone materials.
2. Frost and fog appear outside the machine. Underwater cameras works in a high humidity environment, and the window glass of the protective cover is prone to dirt, causing the camera's vision to be blocked.
The main solutions are the following: one is to add a wiper to the protective cover and clean the glass by controlling the wiper; the other is to use an invisible wiper window glass. Compared with ordinary window glass, invisible wiper window glass has the functions of repelling water and dust, and the effect is better; or it can put forward specific requirements for the sealing of the shell under the condition of high humidity.
3. Machine encounters heavy rainfall or "soaking" test
First of all, the outdoor protective cover must be tightly sealed to prevent rainwater from entering. The inlet for the design should be opened under the protective cover to prevent rainwater from flowing down the cable into the protective cover. A wiper should also be installed in front of the protective cover in order to clear the accumulated rainwater and dirt in time, so that the underwater cameras can capture a clear image. Secondly, the protective cover should be equipped with a heater to heat it in a relatively low temperature environment to raise the internal temperature of the protective cover to ensure the normal operation of the camera / lens; an internal or external fan can circulate the air in the cover and reduce the temperature in the protective cover To ensure the effect of image surveillance.
Outdoor shields are generally made of aluminum, coated steel, stainless steel, or plastic that can be used in outdoor environments. The manufacturing materials must be able to withstand UV radiation, or aging phenomena such as cracks, discoloration, and strength reduction will occur quickly. In environments where durability, high safety, and resistance to human damage are required, a stainless steel shield or an appropriately treated aluminum shield should be used. There are three methods for processing aluminum shields: polyurethane baking paint, anodizing, anodizing and painting. Waterproof glue is used in the connection screw port to enhance the water resistance. There is also a waterproof cover, such as a waterproof pad at the interface; or an aluminum alloy shell can be used to improve the accuracy of the interface. And it has good effect of using high-quality silicone material bonding.
